What is an Adjustment
In a chiropractic adjustment, the Chiropractor aims to correct spinal subluxations (click here to learn what a subluxation is).
Our Chiropractor's use their hands to apply pressure to the bone and spinal joint in a sudden, but controlled force known as a "high velocity, low amplitude thrust". This will promote proper joint motion and function while improving the previously misaligned position. Once that has been done, the Chiropractor is now able to correctly align the spine and free any nerves that may have been pinched.
A Chiropractic Adjustment helps free your body of subluxations, and allows it to function properly.
